Curtain general

A curtain (sometimes known as a drape, ) is a piece of cloth intended to block or obscure light, or drafts, or water in the case of a shower curtain.[1] A curtain is also the movable screen or drape in a theater that separates the stage from the auditorium or that serves as a backdrop.
Curtains hung over a doorway are known as portières.[2] Curtains are often hung on the inside of a building’s windows to block the passage of light, for instance at night to aid sleeping, or to stop light from escaping outside the building (stopping people outside from being able to see inside, often for privacy reasons). In this application, they are also known as “draperies”. Curtains come in a variety of shapes, materials, sizes, colors and patterns, and they often have their own sections within department stores, while some shops are completely dedicated to selling curtains.Curtains vary according to cleanability, ultraviolet light deterioration, oil and dust retention, noise absorption, fire resistance, and life span. Curtains may be moved by hand, with cords, by press-button pads or remote-controlled computers. They are held out of the way of the window by means of curtain tie-backs. Measuring curtain sizes needed for each window varies greatly according to the type of curtain needed, window size, and type and weight of curtain.

Curtains are a form of window treatment, and complete the overall appearance of the house. Window treatment helps control the ambiance and flow of natural light into the room. The effect of drapery or curtains is best seen in daylight, and with proper indoor light positioning, can look attractive even at night.[3]

Plastering Gypsum

In recent years, the construction sector has witnessed a number of new trends, technology advancements and innovations across applications, all aimed at making construction faster and delivering higher performance.  gppp
However, very few would have imagined that the substitute for the generations old method of sand cement surface plastering will be an even older method of plastering i.e.  gypsum plastering. Gypsum has proved to be a miraculous material aiding interior construction. Gypsum surface plaster is one form that has caught the attention on the sector and is growing in popularity.Builders and contractors prefer gypsum plaster due to its superior finish and time saving attributes,

What is Gypsum Plaster?

gps11 gps12
Befor Gypsum Plastering After Gypsum Plastering

When a wall is constructed with brick or block, they are finished with a coat of plaster which is called internal plastering. Internal plastering has traditionally been done through a process of sand-cement plastering finished with POP pruning. This is a two stage process and involves multiple elements like sand, cement and water which is mixed onsite. This form of plastering is being slowly replaced by a direct single coat application of gypsum plaster.
So gypsum plaster is actually a replacement of two processes i.e. sand cement plastering & POP punning. Gypsum plaster is produced as a result of calcinations of the raw gypsum in an automatic kettle under controlled temperature.

• Cannot achieve Line, Level & Right angle corners Perfect line and level achievable
Sand Cement Vs Gypsum Plaster ~ Finishing
Sand Cement Plaster

• Need to use POP to finish
• With POP – cracking of surfaces occurs
• POP – Increases the thickness of wall (20-30mm) & reduces the carpet area substantially
• POP – Wastage is as high as 30-40%
Gypsum Plaster
• Direct application on brick, block or RCC, no separate finishing product required

• Perfect Line and level with sharp corners and edges
• Smooth finish
• Ready to paint
Benefits to builders / developers:
1. Green material
2. Shrinkage crack free surfaces – smooth finish
3. High productivity – faster work (Reducing plastering time by 70% when compared to conventional Sand cement plaster + POP method) so time saving
4. Performance – Durability, light weight (Reduces dead load on structure)
5. Cleaner sites – direct application bagged product – requires no water curing
Benefits to the end customer:
1. No shrinkage cracks on walls and ceilings
2. Reduction in the time required for plastering and this helps in timely possession of homes
3. Perfectly lined, leveled, smooth walls
4. Saving on electricity used for air conditioning as gypsum has very low thermal conductivity
In the last few years, gypsum plaster has become the solution of choice for all leading builders especially in Mumbai and Pune and is now starting to catch on with developers in other cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi.
Many builders such as Lodha, Hiranandani, K Raheja, Magarpatta, Oberoi, Rohan, HCC, Rustomjee to name a few have adopted this method of plastering for a majority of their projects for its sheer convenience over traditional plastering and aesthetic appeal.

BathTub

There are many different types of bathtubs. Some are designed for comfort, some for convenience and some for aesthetics. Some of the more popular types include:Clawfoot and pedestal baths,Recessed or alcove baths,Drop-in baths,Free standing baths,Corner baths,Whirlpool baths or Jacuzzis,Walk-in or gated baths BBT

Clawfoot and pedestal baths

Clawfoot baths, as the name suggests, are baths that sit on four clawed feet. This style of bath came into popularity as a high society item during the late 19th century. As the bath was made of cast iron with a porcelain lining and was extremely heavy, they needed to reinforce the floor underneath to prevent them from crashing straight through. Newer materials allow them to be produced more cheaply and easily, and the originals are now collectors’ items. There are several variations of clawfoot baths, including slipper tubs, which feature a high, sloped end to allow for greater comfort, and double ended tubs which are sloped at both ends (one end is traditionally ‘flat’ in conventional tubs). Another variation on the clawfoot tub is the pedestal tub, which sits on a pedestal rather than on clawed feet. Evidence of this style dates back to the Isle of Crete in 1000 BC.

Recessed or alcove baths

Recessed or alcove baths are the kind of tub the majority of us are most familiar with. Usually installed against a wall on two or three sides, this type of bath is the most common variety and is found in the vast majority of Australian households. Its design hasn’t changed a great deal over the years, though the materials it is constructed of have changed from enamel coated steel or cast iron to acrylic or fibreglass. These baths are often found with showers over them.
alc1 alc2

Drop-in baths

A drop-in bath is one that’s designed to either drop into a cavity in the floor or a raised platform for a (more or less) flush finish. These types of baths can be quite aesthetically appealing but depending on how they’re designed, they can also be tricky to get out of. Another type of drop-in bath is the ‘overflow tub’, which is similar to an infinity pool in that it is designed to be completely filled to the brim. This type of tub is designed to overflow into a guttering system, which then circulates water back into the tub to create a striking visual effect.
dop1 dop2

Freestanding baths

Freestanding baths, in the simplest sense, are those that don’t connect to any walls for support. This is where some of the most innovative ideas in bathtub design have been allowed to grow in recent years, resulting in the use of a variety of unconventional shapes, materials and themes. Clawfoot baths and pedestal baths are technically ‘freestanding baths’, but the category itself also includes many other varieties.
frs1 frs2

Corner baths

Corner baths are triangular in shape and are designed to fit into a corner like a wedge. These sorts of tubs may be a good solution when space is limited and a regularly shaped tub isn’t practical. Corner tubs are often enhanced with air jets, turning them into whirlpool baths.
cob1 cob2

Whirlpool baths / jacuzzis

Whirlpool baths and Jacuzzis are a relatively recent development, making their first official appearance in 1968. Though it’s now an accepted generic term for whirlpool baths, ‘Jacuzzi’ is actually a brand name, and the surname of the man who invented it (Candido Jacuzzi, pronounced “Yah-KOOT-see”). In a whirlpool bath, openings located in the bath walls stream air bubbles and/or water jets, creating a pleasant sensation for the bather. They can be enjoyed with hot or cold water, and it’s claimed that they offer health benefits like improved circulation. Other variations on the same theme include include hot tubs and spas.
wpo3 wpo2

Walk-in / gated baths

Walk-in and gated baths feature high walls and a seat in the tub, with a door that opens up from one side to allow the bather to walk directly in without having to step over the wall of the tub. These tubs are typically used to help the disabled and elderly to bathe freely with minimal assistance. The bath itself has high walls and a seat inside. The design typically allows the bather to enter, sit upright without having to lower themselves in, close the door and fill the tub to the desired height.

Precast concrete

Precast concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a reusable mold or “form” which is then cured in a controlled environment, transported to the construction site and lifted into place. In contrast, standard concrete is poured into site-specific  forms and cured on site. Precast stone is distinguished from precast concrete by using a fine aggregate in the mixture, so the final product approaches the appearance of naturally occurring rock or stone.

Aluminium fabricated wall ,Door ,Window

Factories and manufacturing plants often specialize in various types of metal fabrication, but the process of aluminum fabrication can differ from the processes for most other types of metals. Unlike some other metals, aluminum is often extruded during aluminum fabrication; this process involves drawing or pushing the aluminum blank through a die to create a shaped product. The process of extrusion can be done as a hot process, in which the metal is heated to become more malleable, or a cold process, in which the process is done at room temperature.Aluminum is used on a wide variety of applications because it is lightweight and resistant to corrosion, but it tends to be a fairly brittle metal that can break when force is applied in certain ways. Extrusion is a valuable method in the aluminum fabrication process because it generally puts less stress on the metal during the fabrication process as compared to other fabrication methods, meaning the aluminum will be less likely to lose its strength. Aluminum can certainly be fabricated in other ways as well, though other fabrication methods can apply more stress to the metal, thereby making it more brittle as a finished product.

Insect control

Pest control / Mosquito control manages the population of mosquitoes to reduce their damage to human health, economies, and enjoyment. Mosquito control is a vital public-health practice throughout the world and especially
in the tropics because mosquitoes spread many diseases, such as malaria.

Mosquito control

Mosquito control can be divided into two areas of responsibility: individual and public. Most often it’s performed following the Integrated Mosquito Management (IMM) concept. IMM is based on ecological, economic and social criteria and integrates multidisciplinary methodologies into pest management strategies that are practical and effective to protect public health and the environment and improve the quality of life. IMM strategies are employed in concert with insecticide. These include source reduction, which incorporates physical control (digging ditches and ponds in the target marsh) and biological control [placing live mosquito fish (Gambusia) in the ditches and ponds to eat mosquito larvae]. Other non-chemical control methods include invertebrate predators, parasites and diseases to control mosquito larvae. Adult mosquito biological control by means of birds, bats, dragonflies and frogs has been employed by various agencies. However, supportive data is anecdotal and there is no documented study to show that bats, purple martins, or other predators consume enough adult mosquitoes to be effective control agents.

Pesticides may be applied to control larvae (larvicides) or adults (adulticides). Applications of adulticides or larvicides are made after the presence of mosquitoes has been demonstrated by surveillance procedures. Application is made by prescribed standards. All insecticides must have the name and amount of active ingredient (AI) appearing on the label; examples are DEET and pyrethroids. Check the label before buying. No pesticide is 100 percent safe and care must be exercised in the use of any pesticide. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) contain basic information about a product intended to help you work safely with the material.

Masonry-Plastering-Concrete

Plastering work refers to construction or ornamentation done with cement mortar (a mixture of cement with fine aggregate), such as a layer of plaster on an interior wall or ceiling. The process has been used in building construction for centuries.

Mud plaster /Earth plaster / Clay plaster

It is also known as mud plaster and clay plaster. The material is as simple as the name implies. Earth plaster is nothing more than sand and clay (with chopped straw, if desired) mixed together in the proper proportions to prevent cracking.  When mixed and applied properly, this wall covering will be hard, durable, and beautiful. In many regions of the country, earth plaster can even be used on the exterior walls and may easily last for seven to ten years or more without any maintenance.

Rouble Masonry Work

Rubble masonry, also called rubble work,  the use of undressed, rough stone, generally in the construction of walls. Dry-stone random rubble walls, for which rough stones are piled up without mortar, are the most basic form. An intermediate method is coursed rubble walling, for which stones are roughly dressed and laid in courses. Snecked rubble features stones of varying sizes with small fillers or snacks between them.

Different types of natural stone

Natural stone-Classification

by type of rock

image
Granite, Marble, Limestone, Traver-tine, Slate, Quartzite, Sandstone, Adoquin, Onyx, etc  are major natural stones used in building industry.Natural Stone refers to a number of products quarried from the earth, used over many thousands of years as building materials and decorative enhancements.
Natural stone is held in high regard as a premier building material because it reflects unique character, stability, and grandeur.Variations in natural stone’s broad range of color, pattern, and texture are visually interesting and impossible to replicate. And, because it comes from the earth, from eco-friendly compositions.

Granite

Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the mineral calcite. Limestone is less resistant than most igneous rocks, but more resistant than most other sedimentary rocks. Limestone is readily available and relatively easy to cut into blocks or more elaborate carving. It is also long-lasting and stands up well to exposure.Natural limestone is oil resistant and non-slippery, therefore, well suited for flooring and paving purposes. Limestone can be also be used in any weather, as extreme degree of temperature, cold or hot, hardly affects the color and texture of limestone.
It is highly acclaimed for its natural beauty, that makes it useful for interior as well as exterior decoration. As limestone is composed of finer grains so its density is more as compared to that of sandstone and so pores in the sandstone are more .Limestone, like marble and other calcareous stones, are referred to as acid sensitive.Lime stone is generally soft, and can be corroded by rainwater.
 Lime Stone Flooring
Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, especially hot springs. Travertine often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and even rusty varieties.
Travertine Travertine
Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock derived from an original shale-type sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash through low-grade regional metamorphism. It is formed over thousands of years of sedimentary deposit and compression.
Slate splits naturally into beautifully textured layers. The various shades of slate products – brown, yellow, dark gray, pink, lavender and more – may even occur within the same piece of stone. Durable and stain-resistant, slate products are often used for flooring, cladding and landscaping.
slate slate 2
Shimmering and sparkling with tiny quartz crystals, Quartz is a rock similar to slate with a medium grained texture and incredible durability.
Differing mineral content creates many color variations, from the sedate white, gray or beige to more adventurous shades of purple and pink. Quartzite is widely used for wall veneers and decorative tiles. A naturally non-skid texture makes it a perfect candidate for flooring indoors and out, including areas with heavy traffic and exposure to the elements.
quartzite quartize
Sandstone belongs to the sedimentary rock family and primary comprises sand-sized minerals or rock grains. The components of sandstone are quartz and feldspar which are the primary components of the earth’s crust .
With a uniform texture, an appealing variety of colors and finishes, and weather resistant durability, it’s easy to see why sandstone products have been used for thousands of years for walls, floors, and pavers. As with other types of rock, its variations result from differing mineral composition – there’s a sandstone product to match any décor. Calcareous stones are readily dissolved in acid, while sandstone do not react with the acids.Sandstone is hard as compared to limestone and less corroded by rainwater, so we find it near the rivers, lakes and in desert areas.

Onyx is a banded variety of the oxide mineral chalcedony. Agate and onyx are both varieties of layered chalcedony that differ only in the form of the bands: agate has curved bands and onyx has parallel bands. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color (save some shades, such as purple or blue). Commonly, specimens of onyx contain bands of black and/or white.

Steel Products general

Steel is an alloy of iron, with carbon being the primary alloying element. The carbon content of steel is between 0.002% and 2.1% by weight. Too little carbon content leaves (pure) iron quite soft, ductile, and weak.  steel products
Carbon contents higher than those of steel make an alloy commonly called pig iron that is brittle and not malleable.Stainless steel,Cast iron,Mild steel are used for building products.

Steel Fabricated Wash basins

Stainless steel is commonly used in kitchens and commercial applications because it represents a good trade-off between cost, usability, durability, and ease of cleaning. Most stainless steel sinks are made by drawing a sheet of stainless steel over a die. Some very deep sinks are fabricated by welding. Stainless steel sinks will not be damaged by hot or cold objects and resist damage from impacts. One disadvantage of stainless steel is that, being made of thin metal, they tend to be noisier than most other sink materials, although better sinks apply a heavy coating of vibration-damping material to the underside of the sink.

Iron box

Iron box is a small appliance, a handheld piece of equipment with a flat, roughly triangular surface that, when heated, is used to press clothes to remove creases. It is named for the metal of which the device is commonly made, and the use of it is generally called ironing. Ironing works by loosening the ties between the long chains of molecules that exist in polymerfiber materials. With the heat and the weight of the ironing plate, the fibers are stretched and the fabric maintains its new shape when cool. Some materials, such as cotton, require the use of water to loosen the intermolecular bonds. Many materials developed in the twentieth century are advertised as needing little or no ironing.

Waste Managements general

Waste management is the collection, transport, processing or disposal, managing and monitoring of waste materials. The term usually relates to materials produced by human activity,
and the process is generally undertaken to reduce their effect on health, the environment or aesthetics. Waste management is a distinct practice from resource recovery which focuses on delaying the rate of consumption of natural resources. All waste materials, whether they are solid, liquid, gaseous or radioactive fall within the remit of waste management.

Forced circulation evaporators

In these type of evaporators some mechanical device are fitted to circulate the contents heating in it. For example an evaporating pan in which the materials is agitated by a stirring rod or by a mechanical propeller. The liquid is circulated by means of a pump and as it is under pressure in the tubes the boiling point is raised and no boling take places. And it enters the body of the evaporator.

Rising film evaporators

A rising film or vertical long tube evaporator is a type of evaporator that is essentially a vertical shell and tube heat exchanger. The liquid being evaporated is fed from the bottom into long tubes and heated with steam condensing on the outside of the tube from the shell side. This is to produces steam and vapour within the tube bringing the liquid inside to a boil. The vapour produced then presses the liquid against the walls of the tubes and causes the ascending force of this liquid. As more vapour is formed, the centre of the tube will have a higher velocity which forces the remaining liquid against the tube wall forming a thin film which moves upwards. This phenomenon of the rising film gives the evaporator its name.
Rising film evaporators Rising film evaporators

Multiple effect evaporators

Multiple effect evaporator utilizes the heat from the steam and uses it for evaporation. Sequence of vessel is used in a multiple-effect evaporator. The pressure in the vessel is lower than the preceding vessel. As the pressure decreases the boiling point of water also decreases hence the vapor boiled off in one vessel can be used to heat the next. In multi effect evaporator, only the first vessel is heated by an external source of energy.  These evaporators can be constructed in any number of stages, but in practice four stages evaporators are generally used. Multiple effect evaporator or multi effect evaporator is used a multi-effect evaporation (MEE) distillation process. The process was developed in late fifties and since then it has seen many phases of developments. Though scaling is one of the problem that is attached with it but owing to better thermal performance it is still preferred. In this system, in every stage vapor is condensed thereby giving up its heat to drive more evaporation for the next stage. For improving the performance each stage is operated at a successively lower pressure.

Effluent treatment plant

Effluent is any substance that create pollution, such as municipal sewage or industrial liquid waste that flows out of a treatment plant, septic system, pipe, etc. Effluent can be the outflow from a sewage treatment facility or the wastewater discharge from industrial facilities. Effluents are being produced in large amounts from a number of industries, and it is posing a serious threat to our environment. Handling of such type of effluents is quite necessary to prevent our environment from being further threatened by such dangers The effluent treatment plant may follow any of these processes available today, such as conventional method, modern technology. Here we will concentrate on the conventional method used for the effluent treatment plant. The conventional method consists of three main stages, which includes:
Effluent treatment plant Effluent treatment plant

Sewage treatment plant

Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater, primarily from household sewage. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove these contaminants and produce environmentally safe treated wastewater (or treated effluent). A by-product of sewage treatment is usually a semi-solid waste or slurry, called sewage sludge, that has to undergo further treatment before being suitable for disposal or land application.Sewage treatment may also be referred to as wastewater treatment, although the latter is a broader term which can also be applied to purely industrial wastewater. For most cities, the sewer system will also carry a proportion of industrial effluent to the sewage treatment plant which has usually received pretreatment at the factories themselves to reduce the pollutant load. If the sewer system is a combined sewer then it will also carry urban runoff (stormwater) to the sewage treatment plant.

Air Pollution Control System

Air Pollution Control System Air scrubbers are commonly used in process-air applications to eliminate potentially harmful dust and pollutants. A liquid, in general water added with active chemicals adapted to the process, is sprayed in to the air flow. Aerosol and gaseous pollutants in the air stream are removed by either absorption or chemical reactions with the water solution.

Biogas Plant

The bio-gas produced from food waste, decomposable organic material and kitchen waste, consisting of methane and a little amount of carbon dioxide is an alternative fuel for cooking gas (LPG). Also, the waste materials can be disposed off efficiently without any odor or flies and the digested slurry from the bio-gas unit can be used as an organic manure in the garden

Water treatment General

Water treatment is, collectively, the industrial-scale processes that makes water more acceptable for an end-use, which may be drinking, industry, or medicine.
Water treatment is unlike portable water purification that campers and other people in wilderness areas practice. Water treatment should remove existing water contaminants or so reduce their concentration that their water becomes fit for its desired end-use, which may be safely returning used water to the environment.

Ultra violet (UV) water purifier:Ultraviolet light, at the germicidal wavelength of 253.7 nanometers, alters the genetic (DNA) material in cells so that bacteria, viruses, molds, algae and other microorganisms can no longer reproduce. The microorganisms are considered dead, and the risk of disease from them is eliminated. It is proven scientifically that 85% of child sickness and 65% of adult diseases are produced by water-borne viruses, bacteria and intestinal protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. Inappropriate water treatment can lead to heath problems – hepatitis B, tuberculosis, meningitis, typhoid fever, trichomoniasis, and cholera, glaucoma, gastrointestinal pain, salmonella, poliovirus, and diarrhea

Commercial Ro System

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property, that is driven by chemical potential, a thermodynamic parameter. Reverse osmosis can remove many types of molecules and ions from solutions, including bacteria, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side. To be “selective”, this membrane should not allow large molecules or ions through the pores (holes), but should allow smaller components of the solution (such as the solvent) to pass freely.

RO Boiler chemicals

Boiler feed water it  is an essential part of boiler operations. The feed water is put in to the steam drum from a feed pump. In the steam drum the feed water is then turned into steam from the heat. After the feed water is used it is then dumped to the main condenser. From the condenser it is then pumped to the deaerated feed tank. From this tank it then goes back to the steam drum to complete its cycle. The feed water is never open to the atmosphere. This cycle is known as a closed system or Rankine cycle.

Industrial reverse osmosis

The process of commercial and industrial reverse osmosis provides very high quality water for a variety of uses. From drinking water consumption to sea water desalination, reverse osmosis is widely used in homes and industry where high quality, low TDS water is required. Depending on the specific requirements, reverse osmosis (RO) commercial systems are available in many production capacities. For higher volume needs,

Pressure filter functions by creating an extremely large pressure differential across the filter media.  There are different types of filtration media that are used in removing contaminants from the fluids. The popularly used media are sand, gravel, activated carbon, and other granular media.   Through pressure filtration, dry filter cake is produced from suspended solids or contaminants. While producing dry cake the mechanism also produces liquid filtrate with a high degree of clarity. There are different types of press or pressure filters like

Sand filter

Sand filter Sand Filters are used world over for water treatment. These filters are used in various industries for cleaning water. In sewage units, sand filters are used as a final polishing stage. In sand filters the residual suspended materials and bacteria are trapped by the sand. The sand filter also provides physical matrix for bacterial decomposition of nitrogenous material like ammonia and nitrates, into nitrogen gas. For different application there are different types of sand filters. Usually there are three types of sand filters used:Rapid (gravity) Sand Filters Upflow Sand Filter Slow Sand Filters

Carbon filters

Carbon filters Carbon filters can remove most of the organic compounds, which cause aesthetic problems (taste and odor). The longer the filter remains in contact with water, the more effective it will be in removing the foreign matter. Some of the typical examples of carbon filters include faucet mounted, in line, line bypass, point of entry, pour through, and specialty filters. Faucet mounted filters are connected to the faucet directly. In line filters are placed under the sink on the supply line of cold water; it means that hot water is not filtered. Line bypass models are based on a separate faucet at the sink that supplies only filtered water. Water from the existing fixtures will stay on untreated. Point of entry (POE) systems feature a filter, which treats all water entering the home. These systems have also found to be useful in removing volatile organic compounds, which would otherwise disperse into the air. However, these systems are also the most expensive

Chemical dosing system

Chemical dosing system Aqua Enviro Care  has expanded and updated its range of powder handling systems so that they are ideally suited to the accurate discharging and metering of water and effluent treatment chemicals. As a result, we are able to help Waste Management companies comply with the Landfill Directive (EC), Chemical and Other Processing companies comply with the regulations covering the discharge of effluent into rivers and stream and Utility companies to meet their quality obligations in terms of domestic water supplies.A wide range of conveyors may be used to achieve very accurate dosing with rates as low as 1kg/hr. Providing an even and consistent  material flow, the Aqua Enviro Care systems can eliminate bridging of material and consequent starvation of the conveyor leading to the slurry tank.

Water Clarification

Water Clarification Clarifiers are used for the purpose of clarification of wastewater. Clarification is the widely accepted and the oldest used method in the effective treatment of water and wastewater. This operation includes removal of sediment, floating material and turbidity from raw wastewater.Water clarification process is not the one process but the combination of different processes. Large suspended solids get settle down by gravity. For non-settleable material removal is done through coagulation, sedimentation and flocculation. All these three processes are collectively called conventional clarification or the water clarification.

Sand blasting

Sandblasting is the process of smoothing, shaping and cleaning a hard surface by forcing solid particles across that surface at high speed usually with compressed air.Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface.Sand used to be the most commonly used material, but since the lung disease silicosis is caused by extended inhalation of the dust created by sand, other materials are now used in its place. Any small, relatively uniform particles will work, such as steel grit, copper slag, walnut shells, powdered abrasives, even bits of coconut shell. Due to the dangers of inhaling dust during the process, sandblasting is carefully controlled, using an alternate air supply, protective wear, and proper ventilation.

Solar panels -different types

Different types of solar panels

Solar products
Solar panels are devices that convert light into electricity. either directly using photo voltaics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photo voltaics convert light into electric current using the photoelectric effect.

How much electricity will get from a solar panel
The amount of electricity a solar panel produces is  depends on three factors: solar cell efficiency, solar panel size and the amount of sunlight directly hitting the panel. Each solar panel should have a number listed on the back identifying how much power will be made during peak conditions, also known as a max power rating. All solar panels are rated by the DC power produced in standard test conditions. A typical solar panel produces about 200 watts of electricity based on the efficiency and size of what’s installed. For example, if you have 25 panels installed, you may have an output of about 5 kilowatts (kW).

Tile Different type General

A tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, metal, or even glass, generally used for covering roofs, floors, walls, showers, or other objects such as tabletops.   tile
Alternatively, tile can sometimes refer to similar units made from lightweight materials such as perlite, wood, and mineral wool, typically used for wall and ceiling applications.

Types of Tile

There are several types of tiles used for residential and commercial applications. Tiles provide one of the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly flooring choices. Tiles are made from natural clay and often from other (recycled) materials. Tile manufacturing does not necessitate the use of heavy chemicals or other harmful substances used to make other flooring types. There are no trees to be cut down as with hardwood floors, and the best part is that tiles are durable and have a long lifespan.

Vitrified Tile/Porcelain tiles

Vitrified Tile(are also known as Porcelain tiles) is made by baking fine minerals like clay and silica, at extreme high temperatures where the individual grains or particles melt and fuse make a vitreous surface.Vitrified tile is a tile produced using vitrification. By this process the tiles created have very low porosity. making it stain-resistant and strong. It is an alternative to marble and granite flooring. Thus creating a single mass making them extremely hard with low porosity

Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tiles are made of clay that is baked (known as firing) in a kiln. The wet clay, usually quarried, is extruded into shape before firing. Ceramic tiles are always glazed as they are fired at a lower temperature than porcelain.

Finger and Pencil Tiles

Finger and pencil tiles are decorative tiles similar to mosaics, the main difference being that pencil and finger tiles are long and thin as their names suggest. These can be used in the same way as mosaic tiles, or individually to create a thin strip

Listello (or border) tiles

Listello (or border) tiles are long, narrow decorative tiles mostly used to create a border around a room.

Metal Tiles

Metal tiles can either be made entirely of metal, or be made of a different material (such as a ceramic tile) that has a metal plating. Being a less common choice, metal tiles are bound to stand out and have visual impact: but beware that they may wear over time
Metal Tiles Metal Tiles

 Mosaic Tiles

Mosaic tiles are one of the most popular choices for decorative tiles or a feature. Small tiles, often square, are laid together to create a larger effect. This is usually either a picture or a block colour for a high visual impact.

Honed tiles

Honed tiles are semi-polished, meaning that they are less shiny than fully polished tiles, but are also less slippery and less likely to show dirt. Honed tiles are a popular choice for commercial and high traffic installations.
Honed tiles Honed tiles

Glass Tiles

Glass is a popular material for decorative tiles. Many small mosaics are made from glass for its reflective properties, but larger format glass tiles are often used for splashbacks and feature walls.

Rectified Tiles

Rectified literally means corrected and refined, and rectified tiles are those that have been cut after firing (baking) to ensure their size and shape is perfect.Tiles that have been rectified can be laid closer together with smaller grout joints, giving them a sleeker and more modern look. Rectifying tiles also removes any rounded or ‘cushion’ edges that may be on the tiles, further enhancing their contemporary look.
Rectified Tiles Rectified Tiles

Terracotta Tiles

Terracotta, or cotto, is a type of ceramic tile popular in outdoor areas or where a rustic effect is wanted. When using terracotta for a wet area (especially a salt water pool), be sure to select a high quality low-porosity tile.
Terracotta Tiles flooring Terracotta Tiles flooring

Tumbled tiles

It sounds like this term would be misleading, but it actually isn’t. Tumbled tiles are literally ‘tumbled’ in a large drum (a bit like a clothes dryer) to wear down the face and edges of the tile, chip its corners and edges a little, and give it a rough aged look. Tumbled tiles retain all their strength, and are still just as strong and durable as any other tile.
 Tumbled tiles  Tumbled tiles
Marble is a versatile natural stone which has been used for centuries in homes to create a luxurious and unique look. Because marble is a natural stone, there are variations in the color of each tile. Many homeowners like this, as it creates a unique, one-of-a-kind design, while others prefer a more consistent look, like ceramic tile. Marble is porous and must be sealed just like all other tile types.

Natural Stone Tiles

There are several types of natural stone tiles which are used for flooring, walls and more. These include:

Granite tile

Granite tiles have many applications from exterior and interior wall cladding, to kitchen flooring, tub and shower surrounds, to bathroom and kitchen countertops where tile is a much less expensive option than a slab. Not only is granite versatile, but it also offers far more color choices (thousands in fact!) and is more durable than any other material available.

Drawing Table

A drawing board (also drawing table, drafting table or architect’s table) is, in its antique form, a kind of multipurpose desk which can be used for any kind of drawing, writing or impromptu sketching on a large sheet of paper or for reading a large format book or other oversized document or for drafting precise technical illustrations.  Drawing Table
The drawing table used to be a frequent companion to a pedestal desk in a gentleman’s study or private library, during the pre-industrial and early industrial era.During the Industrial Revolution draftsmanship gradually became a specialized trade and drawing tables slowly moved out of the libraries and offices of most gentlemen. They became more utilitarian and were built of steel and plastic instead of fine woods and brass.More recently, engineers and draftsmen use the drawing board for making and modifying drawings on paper with ink or pencil. Different drawing instruments (set square, protractor, etc.) are used on it to draw parallel, perpendicular or oblique lines. There are instruments for drawing circles, arcs, other curves and symbols too (compass, French curve, stencil, etc.). However, with the gradual introduction of computer aided drafting and design (CADD or CAD) in the last decades of the 20th century and the first of the 21st century, the drawing board is becoming less common.

Drawing Table

A drawing table is also sometimes called a mechanical desk because, for several centuries, most mechanical desks were drawing tables. Unlike the gadgety mechanical desks of the second part of the 18th century, however, the mechanical parts of drawing tables were usually limited to notches, ratchets, and perhaps a few simple gears, or levers or cogs to elevate and incline the working surface.Very often a drawing table could look like a writing table or even a pedestal desk when the working surface was set at the horizontal and the height adjusted to 29 inches, in order to use it as a “normal” desk. The only giveaway was usually a lip on one of the sides of the desktop. This lip or edge stopped paper or books from sliding when the surface was given an angle. It was also sometimes used to hold writing implements. When the working surface was extended at its full height, a drawing table could be used as a standing desk.

Refectory table

728 x 15
A refectory table is a highly elongated table used originally for dining in monasteries in Medieval times. In the Late Middle Ages the table gradually became a banqueting or feasting table in castles and other noble residences.
The original table manufacture was by hand and created of oak or walnut; the design is based on a trestle-style. Typically the table legs are supported by circumferential stretchers positioned very low to the floor.

Gateleg Table

728 x 15
A gateleg table is a type of furniture first introduced in England in the 16th century. The table top has a fixed section and one or two hinged leaves, which, when not in use, fold down below the fixed section to hang vertically. Gateleg Table FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
As such, gateleg tables are a subset of the type known as a drop leaf. The hinged section, or flap, was supported on pivoted legs joined at the top and bottom by stretchers constituting a gate. Large flaps had two supports, which had the advantage of providing freer leg space in the centre. The earliest gateleg tables of the 16th and 17th century were typically made of oak.

Get Kids bed room

Designing kids rooms can be a real challenge. Your kids want a room that is all fun—from the choice of colors right down to easy toy access. You, on the other hand, need that space to be easy to keep clean and well organized.
Don’t fret. Here are a few ideas to keep in mind as you put together your kids room so that it ends up being a place both you and your children can appreciate!
728 x 15
Themes and Colors
When choosing colors for your child’s room, there are a few things to consider. For starters, resist the desire to go too cute. Choose colors that are fun and lively, but also think about what your child will want their room to look like a few years down the road. If you don’t, you’ll likely find yourself calling the painter back in to cover up designs that a “big kid” will find too babyish when they get older. Also think about including a fun theme, such as farm or zoo animals. Nothing beats a good barnyard scene or animal safari when it comes to creating a place where your child’s imagination can run wild.

Think Multifunctional
Another key to creating ideal kids rooms is to think flexibility. The needs of children change rapidly as they move through different stages in their lives, so the furniture and other accessories you choose for their room should be able to change along with them

Chests-Trunk

728 x 15
A chest (also called coffer or kist) is a form of furniture typically of a rectangular structure with four walls and a liftable lid, for storage. The interior space may be subdivided.  FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
The early uses of an antique chest or coffer included storage of fine cloth, weapons, foods and valuable items. A simple chest, called a wakis (wagon-kist) was commonly used in the Cape Colony as a seat on a wagon. To make it more usable, it often had a wooden support along the centre of the top so that the seated driver would not slide off so easily. In addition to this use, they were also used for storage at home; keeping clothes, food and other commodities safe. They were frequently made with one or more sides sloping downwards, although the top was always horizontal. Many are made of very good woods, like yellowwood and survived well.

Nightstand

nightstand, alternatively night table or bedside table, is a small table or cabinet designed to stand beside a bed or elsewhere in a bedroom. It serves the role of a coffee table during nighttime hours, at a person’s bedside. Before indoor flushing toilets became commonplace,
the main function of a nightstand was to contain a chamber pot. As a result, early nightstands were often small cabinets, sometimes fitted with a drawer, and usually containing an enclosed storage space below covered by one or more doors. Another term sometimes given to such cabinets was commode.

The compound wall is a simple contemporary design, which breaks at two points, on either side of the site, to form horizontal openings that give a glimpse of the serene landscape within.

compound wall serves to demarcate the site, protect one’s property, ensure privacy and enhance aesthetic appeal. The most important reason for having a fence is security. Not only does a fence prevent encroachers from moving into your property but also effectively restricts entry into your space. Most city houses are independent units and therefore invariably have their compound walls. Fencing t ensures privacy to the residents. Whether it is a 12 ft. compound wall further reinforced by a chain link fence or a screen wall within the property that restricts access to certain spaces such as swimming pool and party areas, the height and location of these structures are decided on the basis of the privacy needs of the resident. The most commonly used fencing option is the compound wall made of concrete. Other options include timber, picket fences that are also wood-based, wrought iron fences and natural hedges. Compound wall allows private properties to screen themselves from the road, in terms of visibility, dust and noise pollution. It is also necessary to shield the ground floor of the house from the street and therefore the front fence should be of a height that will fulfill this condition. Compound walls are gaining popularity in cities, basically because it presents a strong exterior, is long standing if the foundation is good and requires absolutely no maintenance.
