GYPSOM BOARD

Gypsum board(also known as Drywall ,plasterboard or wallboard or ) is a panel made of gypsum plaster pressed between two thick sheets of paper. It is used to make interior walls and ceilings. Drywall construction became prevalent as a speedier alternative to traditional lath and plaster.
It is a ready made board with plaster of paris.Used for false ceiling.Fixed on a frame work of aluminium or GI channels.2 x 2 or 6 x 4 feet size are available.Cost = almost RS 16/ft2 on jan 2014 for 12 mm thick board in India Kerala.BUILDINGMATERIAL sherlock
