| Bore-well submersible pump, is used to pump groundwater to upper elevation. The device has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The system is fully submerged in water.It is also called A submersible pump (or sub pump, electric submersible pump (ESP)) etc.The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped. |
Advantage of submersible pump

| The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation.It is a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the liquid level. Submersible pumps push fluid to the surface as opposed to jet pumps having to pull fluids.It is a long cylindrical shaped equipment which has almost 10 cm to 15 cm dia and around 1meter length. |

Difference between bore well and tube well |
| Bore well and tube well are ultimately same same purpose, but difference is coming according to the type of casings which is provided as per the soil condition. Perforated Galvanized iron pipes is used for the casing of tube well. But PVC pipes are used for the casings of bore well.Soil condition and quality of rock in the site. If the well is drilling in a no collapsible hard rock bore well is good fore that site.But tube well is provided where the site is loose soil.Both bore well and tube well go to deep. But Tube well casing is go to far deep but the bore well casing go to only up to hard rock. |
